As an OTR, I landed happily in the public school system serving children from pre-k through high school. I have spent 6+ years working in the schools resulting in immense knowledge and understanding of special education practices and protocols.
My desire to support those with unique needs has grown deeper and I have discovered my passion for using a ‘whole person, whole family, whole environment’ approach. This combination has fueled my transition out of standard clinical practice into the formation of Foundation to Flourish, PLLC! Blending together my aspiration to work with those of all ages, my eagerness to help during times of worry or regress, and my high regard for lifelong maintenance support for wellness and joy shapes the core of this business.
I already feel a deep connection to Clayton, NC and the surrounding areas. I am excited for the opportunity to serve families in this area and grateful for the future connections that will be formed!

I earned my first college degree from Kent State University, graduating in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I had recently discovered Occupational Therapy and felt called to the profession of helping people that focused on such a ‘whole person’ approach. This lead me to pursue an Occupational Therapy Assistant program in Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated with an Associations in Specialized Technology in Occupational Therapy and obtained my national Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in 2015.
At age 25, I moved to Maryland for my first COTA job. Experience I gained working in healthcare was immeasurable and remains impactful today. Furthering my education was inevitable as I knew becoming a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) would result not only in autonomy, but also great gains in knowledge and skill. In 2017, I was accepted into the COTA to OTR bridge program at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences in Concord, NC. For 2 years, I worked as a COTA, completed a vast amount of interactive online work, and travelled to campus in Concord once a month. It was hectic, but very well worth it as I graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree and passed the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy exam in 2019.
In my personal time, you can find me with my favorite people- my family! My husband and I are busy with our 2 beautiful children. You can find us outside, always! Maybe in the pool, doing yard work, or enjoying some classics like chalk, bubbles, sports, and all things arts and crafts. One of the most exciting parts of forming Foundation to Flourish, PLLC is being able to show my children how important and rewarding it is to serve our community!
